First of all, since I have to go from Daegu to Seoul, I thought a lot from the stage of choosing hospitals for consultations and narrowed them down. After looking at review photos on the websites, the two hospitals with the style I wanted most luckily had availability on the same day with a three-hour gap, so I ended up going to both. First, I had consulted at one large hospital in Daegu, but I was turned away because my muscles were large.
1. ㅇㅍㅅㅌ At first, they said Wednesdays are only for the director's surgeries, so I could not make a consultation appointment. But since I said I might have surgery in just a few weeks, they made a consultation appointment for me. Somehow I think the information that they do not do consultations on Wednesdays may have been wrong.
When I went, I think there was about a 40-50 minute wait, and from a few weeks before my visit, they kept contacting me to change the time, which was inconvenient for me as someone living out of town. I had already booked all my train tickets, so I had to change them. Still, all the staff were kind, and the director also explained kindly and did not over-recommend. Only what was necessary! I was advised on square jaw surgery and Accu liposuction, and they said my face would see a lot of effect if I had surgery, so I felt that the consultation I had in Daegu really had no meaning.
When I first called, I was worried because the price range seemed on the higher side, but maybe because it was one type of contouring plus liposuction, the price was not high. If I scheduled surgery the same day and paid, there was a 20? 10? percent discount, and if I wrote surgery reviews in 6 places, there was a 500,000 won discount. That was a bit surprising, that one review could take off as much as 500,000 won.
Overall, the consultation was normal and smooth, and the consultant seemed to have strong pride in the hospital and the director, which I liked a bit.
2. ㄴㅌ This was the hospital I had been looking forward to the most since doing online research. When I saw the reviews, it was exactly the face shape I wanted, and for some reason I was really drawn to it.
When I went that day, as expected, the director's surgery was delayed, so I went into consultation late. Many people said the director's consultation was meticulous, but I did not feel it was as meticulous as expected. And I was a bit surprised because they recommended all 3 types of facial contouring. It was my first time being recommended cheekbone surgery, so inwardly I wondered if it was overtreatment. Still, they said if I did not want the cheekbones, I did not have to do them, and that I could do only 2 types first and have cheekbone surgery later if the cheekbones became noticeable. But they said since I was already doing it, doing them together would be better, so they were recommending it. The price came out higher than I had expected. But if I exclude the cheekbones, the amount for square jaw + chin tip was almost similar to ㅇㅍㅅㅌ's price for 1 type, so it probably looked more expensive because more items were recommended.
The consultant was really kind and attentive, but did not seem as professional as ㅇㅍㅅㅌ. There was a little pressure. Still, aftercare through communication was good. Replies were fast, so I liked that part, that communication was good. With ㅇㅍㅅㅌ, when I contacted them to ask something, the reply came in the evening..
Anyway, in conclusion, I slightly regret that I only saw two places, but they were my first and second choices, so I was very satisfied just that the consultations were scheduled on the same day. I decided to have surgery at ㄴㅌ on April 17..
