10 years ago, I rushed into double eyelid surgery (incisional) + epicanthoplasty at a clinic I had barely looked into As a result, my current eyes are uneven, sharper-looking, not quite sausage-like but with a slightly high line, and even though it was incisional, one eye is a little loosened. Hopeless, right..? So if there are any young people who really don’t know much about surgery that involves cutting the face, I really want to tell them to think it over enough and go for consultations at several places in person..! The intro got too long haha. Anyway, for over 10 years I didn’t have any major inconvenience while living with it, but the stress built up whenever I looked in the mirror, so whenever I had time, I did online research through apps, cafes, etc. for over a year. I focused on places with good revision eye surgery reviews, especially clinics with a natural style. I tried not to move around too much, so they were all mainly around Sinsa Station, and right now I’ve even made a reservation at one place. I hope this helps everyone a lot!
1. ㅌㅇㅅ-ㅇㅅㅊ I originally wanted a consultation with Director Ji, but I heard they were going overseas for training, so this was a consultation I booked in a rush. But the result was somewhat satisfying..? There weren’t many reviews for this doctor, so I was a bit worried, but I’d heard this clinic was really good at revision surgery, so I thought they’d probably be decent. I looked up tons of review photos, and they were good at exactly the natural + glamorous in-out style I wanted. They felt like the one who put the most effort into designing the line, and after looking at the photos I showed them, they recommended incisional revision + ptosis correction + lower canthoplasty (this was what I wanted). The price range was more reasonable than I expected! Maybe because this doctor doesn’t have many reviews, the slightly bothersome condition is posting a review.. but for revision surgery, I liked the price range, and the consultation was good because they explained things gently and clearly. The consultation waiting time was really long, so I think you need to take that into account to some extent
2. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ-ㄱㅂㅇ Honestly, this was the clinic I had the highest expectations for, but unlike what I expected, the price range was really the highest, and the consultant wasn’t that proactive. How should I put it, they were very firm about discounts and things like that The director was a woman, and the review photos were clean, natural, and pretty, so this was my inner first choice. During the consultation, she explained things very thoroughly and in detail, but I heard that the line I wanted might not come out well, so I felt a bit unsure.. They also recommended incisional revision + ptosis correction + lower canthoplasty. If the price range had been a bit more suitable, I still would’ve considered it, but I passed right away.. The consultation was the quickest and cleanest, and there wasn’t much unnecessary waiting time, so that part was really nice.
3. ㄷㅂㅇ-ㅅㅅㅎ I didn’t have that many expectations for this place, but the consultation was the best! The consultant and director were all so kind that I debated hard until the very end. First, since it’s a one-doctor clinic, it felt trustworthy, and as it was a clinic that had been mentioned a lot, they looked closely at my eyes and explained things. Especially here, they did not recommend ptosis correction! So it was only incisional revision + canthoplasty, and the price range was the lowest among the three (of course, this place also had a review condition). But the more I looked at the review photos, the more they didn’t seem to be the natural style I wanted as much as I expected, so I debated until the end
This is my in-person consultation review from clinics I visited over two days. Since I was also looking into lower canthoplasty, this list is from a lot of online research focused on clinics that are also good at canthoplasty. If anyone is going for consultations, I recommend going to all three!! I hope everyone’s surgery goes well, and mine too!!!!
