2 years ago, I had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty. The line is too high, the fixation is too strong, and it looks sausage-like, so I need revision surgery. Since my first surgery was incisional, the revision also has to be incisional.
Right now, a lot of skin folds over on my eyes, and my double eyelid feels deeply sunken in. When I open my eyes in a half-closed, sleepy way, they look like the eyes of those baby dolls kids play with. Do you know what I mean? When opening the eyes sleepily, the double eyelid should disappear to look natural, but it does not disappear and stays thick as it is, so it looks extremely obvious. But I am wondering whether being in this current state is a bad condition for revision surgery. Could the fact that my current eye fixation is deep affect revision surgery? I want a very natural and subtle double eyelid, but my current state has strong fixation and looks very obvious, so I am worried there may be limits to making it look natural.
Oh, and does anyone know why the double eyelid on the closed eye does not disappear when winking? Is this also because the ptosis correction was too strong? When people whose double eyelids look natural, or people who naturally have double eyelids, wink, does the double eyelid on the closed side disappear? For me, the double eyelid remains very pronounced even on the closed side, so it stresses me out...
