I suddenly started aging, so I went to a dermatologist I often watched on YouTube and got a consultation. Originally, I was thinking of getting InMode or Tune Face, but since my skin is thin and I don’t have much facial fat, they said they recommended Oligio, so I made an appointment. They said getting it once a year would be fine, but I wondered if I would see results, so I got it a total of 3 times at 6-month intervals.
First time - Right after getting it, it felt hot for a short while. I wasn’t expecting a big effect, and I just hoped things wouldn’t get worse. One month passed, then two months passed, and there was no change at all, but I comforted myself thinking it must have been better than doing nothing. The doctor also said Oligio’s effects build over time, so I thought, okay, I see.
Second time - They said it would be good to get it again 6 months after the first treatment, so I went back. This time I also got Juvelook, and when I asked about the order, they said it was better to do Oligio first, so I had the treatments one month apart in the order Oligio -> Juvelook. Again, I saw no effect from Oligio.
Third time - The clinic I had been going to was too expensive and far away, so I got it at a dermatology clinic near my house. This place also has a dermatologist specialist and the facilities seemed better, but it was about 300,000 won cheaper. They gave a kind consultation. When I said I had previously gotten Juvelook and Oligio, they said that getting Oligio after Juvelook would help tighten everything with radiofrequency and make the Juvelook effect come out better. As I listened, that seemed right. I had the consultation and went straight into the procedure. For the first time after getting Oligio, I felt my skin become firmer. When I searched online, people said Oligio has an immediate effect, so I wondered if this was it. For the week after getting it, customers at my shop kept saying I looked younger and asking how old I was. But after about 2 weeks, I felt it gradually returning to how it was lol. Now it’s been a month, and it’s back to square one lol
After trying it three times, I don’t think I’ll get Oligio again. I plan to try the next level up, Thermage, or another procedure. I lost about 4 million won on Oligio, but... failure is... the mother of success.........Mother............................ It must have been better than not doing it, right...? If I hadn’t done it, I would’ve aged 10 more years, right...? ㅠ
And for dermatology clinics, I think it’s best to go somewhere nearby with a dermatologist specialist, get a consultation, and have it done at a place that seems good. YouTube...... what you see is not everything......
