I think the major swelling has gone down to some extent, but I was a bit stressed about the scar + asymmetry, so I mentioned it when I went for my follow-up this time.
They said the scar is actually healing really quickly, so I was a bit taken aback. But they also said what’s there now will fade over time, and it really does seem to be getting lighter day by day!
For the asymmetry, they said it may be because some firmness still hasn’t softened yet, so we should watch it for a bit ㅠ (Before surgery, I asked them to match the size as much as possible, and they said they opened the eye that was originally smaller on both sides (left) a bit more... So now it feels asymmetrical in the opposite way.......)
For now, I think I’ll have to keep watching the asymmetry ㅠㅠ (about 3-6 months..?)
Still, the director looked at it and said it turned out well, so I felt good ㅋㅋㅋㅋ People around me also say my eyes have definitely changed, and I think I did well hehe
