*The reason I am posting a review about my eye surgery at this plastic surgery clinic is to help people who are considering using that institution make a careful choice.
When I had the consultation before the procedure, they said the distance between my eyes and the space between my eyes was wide, and that if I had epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty, I could expect a more open-looking eye shape, so I did it... It has now been almost 3 weeks since the procedure, and in conclusion, I have seen no effect at all.
On day 5 after the procedure, right after the stitches were removed, I said there was no difference. I asked whether they had really done epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty, and what had changed, and they said they had removed the Mongolian fold inside the eye? Why did they remove the Mongolian fold inside the eye? It was different from the original purpose of the procedure they had explained. They said they would do a revision surgery after 6 months if I wanted, but that they did not recommend it.
I originally had double eyelids since birth, so I had wondered what procedure would be appropriate for me.. I took my preoperative photos to another hospital and showed them, and also showed them my actual postoperative condition. They said my eyes were not suitable for canthoplasty in the first place, and that the doctor who recommended that surgery from the start was at fault.. They said even offering revision surgery was offering something with obvious side effects, so it would be reasonable to request a refund.
Why did they recommend a surgery that had no effect from the beginning, and did they just pretend to perform the procedure to make money? At another hospital, they said upper canthoplasty is the same as epicanthoplasty, but here they charged by area, and despite that I saw no effect at all and instead was left with scars. How are they going to take responsibility..?
The doctor must have had a clear reason, based on their own judgment, why they could only open it by 0.05 mm, and yet they are recommending revision surgery again, which is so bewildering. Are there really people who would entrust their face again to a doctor they have lost trust in? Also, recommending surgery that is unnecessary and ineffective is unconscientious and only aimed at making money. Is it over once they roughly do the surgery, leave only scars, and take the money?
