Originally, I was planning to get consultations at ㅇㅂㅈ, ㅈㅅㅌ, and ㅇㅇ, and if I didn’t like all three, I was going to try ㅇㅅㅋ. But for ㅇㅂㅈ, it was really hard just to schedule a consultation, and they said a consultation with the head director would only be possible from next January, so I passed. Anyway, I went to two places for consultations.
1. ㅈㅅㅌ(ㅇㅅㅇ) My first impression of the clinic was that it was spacious and clean? But when I visited, there weren’t any people waiting, so it felt a bit empty. There were quite a lot of Japanese patients, and I was surprised that there were many staff members dedicated to Japanese interpretation lol During the consultation, the director looked very relaxed, but rather than a detailed consultation about the surgery, he only explained the overall flow and talked while showing me review photos. He recommended lower eyelid fat repositioning + fat grafting. But the surgery cost was higher than I expected, and compared with that, there were a lot of conditions like taking photos and posting a review, so it felt ambiguous.
2. ㅇㅇ(ㅂㅇㅅ) It wasn’t very spacious, but there were some people waiting, so the clinic looked a bit small. The director explained things in detail while drawing pictures during the consultation, and I was satisfied. As the consultation went on, the conversation got longer, and we even talked about double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. He said because the distance between my eyes is narrow, epicanthoplasty isn’t great, and if I were to do something, I should do double eyelid surgery lol Here, he didn’t mention fat grafting and said I only need lower eyelid fat repositioning. He said they tie something with dissolvable sutures to fix the repositioned fat and secure it with tape, so the method seems a bit different from ㅈㅅㅌ. They mentioned a same-day booking discount here, so if you’re going for a consultation, I think it’d be better to visit some other places first! The surgery cost seems just average.
