This is my day 9 review after incisional double eyelid surgery + upper, lower, and lateral canthoplasty^.^
- I had always worried about my monolids, small eyes, and uneven eyes... One day, while getting a consultation for vision correction because of amblyopia, I was diagnosed that severe eye asymmetry could possibly be causing the amblyopia. So I finally made up my mind to have surgery:>
- Older girls I know recommended it, saying double eyelid surgery absolutely has to be done here!! So on the day I went for the consultation, I scheduled the surgery date right away. Everyone at the clinic was kind and nice, but... the problem was that the waiting time was really, really longㄱㅡ Even on the consultation day, and even on the surgery day, the surgery time had already passed but there was no notice at all, so I eventually went to the desk myself and asked what was going on.(- _-)
- There was a separate director for the lateral canthoplasty, so the surgery was done in two stages, first and second, and the first stage hurt too, but during the second stage I seriously thought I was going to die... It felt like they were digging my eyeballs out ㅜㅜ But the lateral canthoplasty director was really so gentle and nice... I was really nervous and scared and was trembling, but during the surgery they kept soothing me kindly....
- After the surgery, I came home and looked at my eyes...... Is this right?? Is this how it’s supposed to be?? I kept having those doubts... They were so severely swollen... painful... bloody tears came out ㅜㅜㅋㅋ The conjunctival edema was also severe, and because of the swelling my whole face just looked like a monsterㅋㅋㅋㅠ
- It’s been one day since I had the stitches removed, and after getting them removed, my eyes definitely feel even a little more comfortableㅠㅠ What I realized while recovering after surgery is...... I don’t have to force my eyes open to put in eye drops!!!!! Even when I open my eyes wide, I don’t strain my forehead!!! I can open my eyes without making forehead wrinkles!!! It’s seriously so amazing.... Goodbye to the days when even drawing 5 cm of eyeliner got buried and couldn’t be seen....☆ I also give endless thanks to the director who created something from nothingㅎ
