I wrote before last time that I was getting surgery, and I had the surgery yesterday and came back 3 types of facial contouring and an endoscopic forehead lift
As soon as I got to the hospital, I received the prescription and went to the pharmacy, and they happened to have the swelling medication I was looking for too, so I bought two boxes! (Tripline tablets?)
After taking a CT scan, I consulted with the director and said I hated having a chin that was too short and small, and that I wanted there to be a bit of chin on the side too When I looked in the mirror at home, I never thought I had a receding chin, but in photos, from the philtrum downward, it did kind of look like the whole area was slightly set back. He said he would move it forward about 4 mm, and that he would also operate on the asymmetry area! First of all, my nerve line was not on the high side. Even I could see that ㅋㅋㅋ
I got ready for surgery and the moment I went into the operating room, I suddenly got so scared.. I also have hard-to-find veins ㅠㅠ Thankfully, they got it in one try. It didn’t hurtㅠㅠ And then I kept saying, “I’m scaredㅠ I’m scaredㅜ,” and then I fell asleep..
When I woke up from anesthesia, what was really hard was that because of the general anesthesia, my throat hurt 10 times worse than COVID ㅠㅠ Honestly, the facial contouring itself was just a throbbing feeling. My throat seriously hurt so much ㅠ
And I’m the type who gets nauseous and vomits easily whenever I get injections, and sure enough, I vomited after getting the pain-control injection, vomited after getting shots, had nosebleeds pouring out ㅠ coughed, and in the end I didn’t use the pain-control injection ㅠ And they say you can feel a bit dizzy after a forehead lift, right? But for me, I don’t know if it was because of my forehead or what, but I kept feeling like I was going to throw up. I coughed too, and I think I vomited about 6 times until dawn. When you vomit, you put so much force into your face, right? So I was really worried the surgery might get messed up ㅠ
And because of the compression band, it hurt so much that I cried to the night-shift nurse, saying it felt like my brain was going to burst and my eyeballs were going to pop out ㅠ In the end, they loosened it a bit. At dawn I felt so suffocated that I started hyperventilating, and the night-shift nurse held my hand beside me.. Anyway, the night-shift nurse was so kind, so I really appreciated it
Honestly, after surgery until before discharge the next day, I really regretted having the surgery. My throat hurt so much, my stomach felt awful, I felt like throwing up, I couldn’t breathe well because of phlegm, and because of the compression band it felt like my face was going to burst.. By morning, though, I felt a bit better My stomach felt bad, so I could barely drink four or five tiny sips from the cup of water they gave me
Even after I was discharged and came home, my stomach still didn’t feel great, but my older sister blended a banana for me, and after I ate that and took some Tylenol, I felt much better After eating, when I lowered my head just a little to gargle, both nostrils started bleeding ㅋㅋ
For now, it’s been about 4 hours since I was discharged and got home Now I’m much better ㅜㅜ I still have a stuffy nose and some phlegm, but it’s much better than yesterday. My throat still hurts, but it’s tolerable compared with yesterday
I’m very swollen, but more than my chin, because of the forehead lift my eyes and glabella are extremely swollen, and my eyes are badly bruised too. I had double eyelid surgery around 10 years ago, and after seeing how the swelling goes down, I might get double-line correction..? For now it doesn’t hurt. If anything, the painful part is maybe my chin?
For now, my older sister said my face got smaller hehe It feels like both sides of my jaw got a lot smaller? The length wasn’t reduced much, and there’s swelling so I can’t really tell, but It’s funny because I’m bruised and round and swollen Anyway, tomorrow is day 3, so they told me to wash my hair and come to the hospital Will I really be able to wash my hairㅠ
