Since this was my very first in-person consultation for plastic surgery in my life, I did only a little online research (seriously looked really roughly) and went out for consultations. I focused only on a few clinics that I just felt drawn to, thinking, “Let’s bravely get through the first in-person consultation! Then I’ll get consultations more intensively at other clinics!” So this morning’s consultations were exactly 2 places! lolololol Since I’m a homebody, it took a huge amount of courage.....;;;
For my eyes, by my standards, my left eye has a natural in-out double eyelid, and my right eye has an in-out double eyelid that formed from using a lot of double-eyelid glue! My brow bone and cheekbones protrude a bit, and I don’t have much fat around my eyes! I think I have sunken eyes! (Ah, I forgot to ask this.) But because of the tear troughs under my eyes and the fat that pops out when I smile, I also consulted about lower eyelid fat repositioning!
First in-person consultation 1) ㅈㅅㅎ Plastic Surgery Clinic 2) Consultation with the director, then consultation with the manager. 3) When I went in and said I was looking into double eyelids and lower eyelid fat repositioning, the director said very firmly, “There are two options. 1. Just live as you are. 2. Even if you have surgery, it’ll probably be similar, but if you’re going to do it, do non-incisional double eyelid surgery and lower eyelid fat repositioning. It will look a little clearer.” I thought that because my skin was sagging, I absolutely had to get an incision, but they said I don’t have much skin, so even non-incisional would not come undone easily.... They suggested an in-out line, and said that if I do lower eyelid fat repositioning, the tear trough pulling underneath and the slightly protruding fat would likely be addressed. I also asked a little about canthoplasty, but they strongly refused. They said there’s no need... The manager said the same.... They were firm, so I didn’t ask any further........ The surgical method is sedation anesthesia followed by local anesthesia.
4) I don’t remember the price, but by card it was 2.5 million? The double eyelid surgery was about 1 million, but the lower eyelid fat repositioning was a bit expensive... If paying cash, around 1.8 million.
5) Everyone was kind. There were two people at the front. Second in-person consultation 1) ㅇㅇㄹㄷ Plastic Surgery Clinic 2) Manager consultation 3) As soon as I entered the consultation room, the manager said, “Why?... are you trying to do it?” .. She said, “You already have double eyelids?” I was flustered because she said it seemed like I didn’t need to do it... When I focus, my eyes open wide... but when I relax, the difference is bigㅠㅠ Still, I said I wanted my eyes to look clearer and wanted lower eyelid fat repositioning, and then she first asked if I had a desired shape. It felt like she was trying to reflect my opinion. She suggested non-incisional in-out double eyelids, and doing fat grafting together while doing lower eyelid fat repositioning. The fat does protrude when I smile, but since it looks hollow when my face is expressionless, she recommended fat grafting. There were a lot of things I wanted to ask, but since it wasn’t a consultation with the director and I cooled off when I heard the price... Doing fat grafting together makes it so expensive....
4) The price was non-incisional double eyelid surgery 880,000, lower eyelid fat repositioning 880,000, and whatever the fat grafting was, so I think it was 2.2 to 2.4 million. Cash was 2.1 million after subtracting 10% VAT.
5) The lobby atmosphere and everyone were kind. There were 3 people.
+ What was disappointing is that at ㅇㅇㄹㄷ, I didn’t have a director consultation, only a manager consultation. I plan to make an appointment and go next time! But the staff members’ eyes were all so pretty. But even if I say I’ll get surgery to look like that staff member, I don’t think mine would turn out like that... There’s a before-and-after surgery booklet in the lobby, and ㅇㅇㄹㄷ seems to mainly focus on in-out eye lines.
For now, this is about what I remember...! It was my first online and in-person research, so there are a lot of things lackingㅠㅠ I plan to do more specific online research and visit Seomyeon again this week for more in-person consultations!
