When I consulted with the consultant, she said my alae aren’t wide, but the nasal bridge itself is somewhat wide, so she didn’t recommend alar reduction She said if I did alar reduction, the nasal bridge would be emphasized even more
When I consulted with the director too, he also did not recommend alar reduction, and after taking a CT scan, we looked together at the 3D image on the screen There were several traces showing that my nose had been broken when I was young without me knowing
He said after the nose broke and reattached, cartilage formed in the gaps
and as that happened, the nose bent slightly downward like a hump, and the nasal tip also became slightly lower, so to me it probably makes the nostrils look a bit spread out
But he said if my nose were low, it would be better to insert an implant, but my nasal tip is high and my nose itself is also on the higher side
so if anything more is added here, my nose will get bigger...
So he recommended narrowing the wide nasal bridge with osteotomy, while also tidying up the cartilage and raising the nasal tip

He said the glabella area is relatively low, but the nose is high and the nasal tip is also high If I want a slim nose, it would be a major surgery surgically, so he told me to just live with it
Before getting consultations, I thought it would be nice to just reduce the alae, but I guess my nose is the type they say on YouTube should not get alar reduction
Also, the surgeries they recommended seem too major to me, so I don’t think I can do them
