Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I got uneven double eyelids done at Iwabaek Plastic Surgery, an eye-specialty clinic

Before<before doing it>After<after doing it>After<after doing it>I only had double eyelid surgery on one eye.

Before doing it, I worried and kept putting it off because I heard so many things, like if I only did one side it would go back to being uneven, the designs couldn’t be matched exactly, uneven eyes are charming, and so on. I finally did it, and I’m very satisfied.

After doing it, I heard a lot that I look more feminine and that my image has become softer. Most of all, every time I look in the mirror, my personal satisfaction is the bestㅠㅠ

<Photo 1> is the before photo! <Photos 2, 3> are the after photos!!ㅎㅎㅎ The design came out exactly the same as the eye I originally had, right?!

First of all, choosing a hospital was hard for me. I wanted to do only one side, but most places recommended both sides, so a lot of candidates got crossed off.

I only chose candidates that specialized in eyes, and among those I preferred private clinics where the director performs the surgery directly rather than factory-style clinics. There wasn’t much to think about when deciding where to do it. If you go for consultations in person, you’ll probably get a feeling for it. I went to a total of 4 places: Noh Sang-hoon Plastic Surgery, Iwabaek Plastic Surgery, Lift Plastic Surgery, and one other place I don’t even remember;; and I chose Iwabaek.

It wasn’t a place with several directors who were all inconsistent; I trusted that Director Baek Do-heum himself would perform the surgery. I had to go back to work just 3 days after the surgery, so I was very anxious about that.

But during the consultation, the director said that based on his experience, my eye wouldn’t look very obvious after surgery and that it would be okay. In reality, I barely bruised, and my swelling went down incredibly fast compared with other people, so I went to work even before getting the stitches removed. For adhesion, I got the stitches removed on day 5, but even when I went to work on day 3, nobody noticed or said anythingㅋㅋ I liked it even more because I heard it was a clinic famous by word of mouth, and during the consultation I could feel the confidence that comes from experience, so I picked it right away. I even paid before leaving.

After you’re done, they give you something like a cold/hot pack, and they said swelling laser treatment is free for 1 month. I got the swelling laser twice, and I didn’t even do compresses, but my eye barely swelled, so my friend teased me a lot asking if it was just my constitutionㅋㅋ I think the director was right; if you go and talk to him, you’ll know, but he’s very confident and neat. Even without a long conversation, he feels trustworthy.

Oh right, also, I liked that it was local anesthesia. Personally, I had fear about sedation anesthesia too, but I didn’t want to fast for a surgery that wasn’t even major. In reality, he designed it very carefully, so most of the time was spent on the design; the actual surgery time was really about 15 minutes? It didn’t take many minutes.

As for swelling, my friends said they wouldn’t know unless I closed my eyes, so there’s not much to say about how many days it lasted. It’s been 1 month now, and even I can’t see the scar.ㅋㅋ There’s no difference from the side I didn’t do. The cost was also more reasonable than other places.

There probably aren’t many reviews of getting buried suture double eyelid surgery on only one uneven eye, so I hope my review helps!
