I got Oligio, but I looked so lifeless that I asked what else would be good to do, and Juvelook was recommended to me.
I originally had Sculptra in mind, but I was hesitating because of the side effect of nodules. They said Juvelook is less effective than Sculptra, but has no side effects, so I decided on it.
I got 6 cc three times at one-month intervals, by manual injection.
I was scared it would hurt because they would be poking me like crazy with needles, so I applied numbing cream for 50 minutes.
The first session was bearable, but during the second and third, tears came out without me even realizing it. ㅠ
I heard Juvelook is considered one of the less painful treatments, so who on earth gets Rejuranㄷㄷ
I heard it means it was done properly if there are embossing marks, but I only got needle bruises on both cheeks. The next day, there were only really slight bruises, almost unnoticeable.
I wondered if something had gone wrong, so I asked the doctor, and they said Rejuran needs to leave embossing marks, but Juvelook may not, so I was like, oh, I see.
There was no noticeable effect after the first two sessions, but after the third session, my face looked fuller and more lively.
My inner dryness used to be no joke either, but even from when I wash my face, the skin feels different to the touch, and it does not feel tight no matter what I apply.
At night, I applied the night cream I normally used, and I got acne, so I only applied a really light moisturizing cream. My skin condition was the best.
But after about a month passed, little by little... it deflated a lot......
After a month, I went to another dermatology clinic, and they recommended Juvelook ㅋㅋㅋ I got hollow-looking again and the inner dryness became awful, so now I am mixing Vaseline into my moisturizing cream and applying it.
I feel like I heard that if you get it 3 times at one-month intervals, it lasts 1 year ㅇㅅㅇ
I did not think it would stay exactly like the initial state for 1 year, but, um... should it not last at least three months ...
Since this dermatology clinic was too expensive and far away, I went to a dermatology clinic near my house and told them I had gotten Juvelook, and they asked if I had embossing marks.
When I said I only had two needle marks, they said there should be embossing marks for it to have gone into the dermis, and that it seemed like it was injected deeply into the fat layer.. I had looked it up that way too and asked the doctor about it when getting Juvelook ㅇㅅㅇ
They said that even if it goes into the fat layer, it is not that there is no collagen regeneration effect, but that is effective for people in their 50s or older.
Next time, I plan to do it here with a machine instead of manual injection ㅠ
I do not know if the procedure did not work because my skin is too bad, or if the doctor injected it wrong, but I spent 6 million on Oligio + Juvelook over 1 year, and the effect was so minimal..... I will not cry.........ㅠ
I am just thinking that if I had not done it, I would have aged more.
Anyway, I do not think places where the doctor seems too busy are that great.
The doctor at the first clinic I found after watching YouTube......
They were kind during the consultation too, but everything was done in a rushed, chased-feeling way, and during the procedure, once the nursing assistants prepared everything, the doctor just stuck the injections in rapidly and disappeared right away.
I think it is better to have someone who looks at your face for even 1 minute before and after the procedure.. ㅠ
Now I should try Rejuran, which I have not tried yet...
