The doctor explained everything very kindly and thoroughly, but personally the staff were rather cold after payment... And for a hospital with only two doctors, it still had a bit of a factory-like feel. The operating room nurse was the worst. On the first round, because she was a beginner, she couldn’t insert the needle properly into the back of my hand, so I was in a lot of pain and had a rough time; on the second round, the anesthesia went in smoothly. I’m extremely skinny, so I was worried the fat wouldn’t take well, but my face settled in very beautifully and at an appropriate level even after two years, and the thighs where they harvested the fat healed cleanly except for small scars. Since they scraped fat from both thighs on such a thin body, I was very worried, but it recovered well without sticking together. The side-effect reviews were terrifying, and I don’t know what I was thinking trying to harvest fat when I barely had any, but at least the fat graft itself is extremely satisfying.
