Last week, I finally went around for breast surgery consultations!!
First of all, I’m a complete capital-J type, so I even made an Excel comparison chart by clinic and organized everything. Among them, I narrowed it down to the ones I liked, made reservations, and went haha
I originally booked a total of 5 places, but for one of them, I found out something shocking by my standards on the way to the consultation, so I canceled the appointment right away.
And for another place, maybe because I said I wanted surgery around Chuseok, they scheduled the consultation for July 1, so I haven’t gone yet lol
For now, I’ll first leave reviews of the 3 places I visited last week!
Oh, clinic features and things like that are easy for everyone to find, so I’ll write mainly about what I personally felt :)
1. ㅇㅇㅇ - Director ㅂㅈㅎ This place has 2 male directors, and among them I booked with Director Park! First, what was unique here was that instead of waiting in an open waiting room, I waited and had both the consultant + director consultations in a space like a private room!! So I liked that I didn’t have to run into other clients haha
First, after changing into a gown in the changing room and entering the consultation room, I talked with the consultant while filling out the chart, and the consultant also looked at my breasts once. Since it was my first consultation, I was a little embarrassed, but maybe because the consultant had experience, as soon as she looked, she immediately talked about my breasts!
Then I waited a little while handling the implants, and the director came in. The director examined me sooo thoroughly lol He didn’t just look at my breast shape; he also looked at my body type together, including my waistline, while explaining things, and recommended implants after considering even my skin type and weight changes! He also tried a very wide range of sizes, asked which one I liked, and at the end the consultant took photos for me haha They told me to go home, look at them again, and talk it over with my husband too!
Then I talked with the consultant again, and there was a bit of encouragement because they had a same-day discount, but it wasn’t excessive. Maybe because I said this was my first clinic and that I was going to visit other places too haha
But I liked it, and it was a clinic I had already been considering, so I put down a deposit for now!
Oh, there is a consultation fee of 10,000 won, but if you put down a deposit, they deduct it haha
2. ㅂ - Chief Director ㅊㅅㅇ This place is a very large clinic, and when I looked at reviews for the chief director, the breast shape was soooo pretty that purely in terms of shape, this was my first choice lol But after the consultation, I was a bit disappointed? ....
First, I don’t know if it was because my consultation time was late, or if it was just the director’s usual style, but the consultation itself was extremely short. Here, uniquely, they took photos of my breasts and talked while looking at those, and he didn’t actually look directly at my breasts? After taking the photos, you go into the consultation wearing a sports bra. Well, he did talk through everything just by looking at the photos, but he said I choose the implant size, and I choose the type too, and that everything is possible, so I was like, um, what is this? Of course it makes sense for me to choose, but I still would have liked him to give me some options. He didn’t decide anything at all for me ....
Since I went because of an acquaintance’s recommendation, they said they would give me a discount, but I just deleted it from my list right after the consultation!
3. ㅁㄹ - Chief Director ㄱㅈㅇ This was a one-doctor clinic! I added it because I was curious about a female director, and it wasn’t like I was hugely drawn to it haha
First, the clinic itself wasn’t very large, but maybe because it had been a little over a year since opening, it was clean! It felt well organized?
I consulted with the consultant first, and she was very cool and made me feel comfortable, really like an older sister haha I liked that she answered all my concerns and questions honestly!
Then I had to wait a little because the director was consulting with the person before me, and she apologized so much about that?! No one else did that at other places haha This place also examined me very thoroughly, and she explained while directly touching and checking my breasts. She also showed me photos of breast cases similar to mine and recommended a size. Oh, this was the only clinic that thoroughly explained all the postoperative side effects too!!!! I liked it even more because of that haha
Oh, and what was interesting was that she recommended the exact same size as the first place, ㅇㅇㅇ, said the exact same things about my breasts, and the surgical method was the same too!!
Wow, this got so long as I wrote it lololol
Anyway, I think my choice will be ㅁㄹ!!
Rather than just saying it will definitely go well or that they’ll do a good job, I felt like they were truly considering and caring for me haha
