I had buried double-eyelid surgery 5 years ago. I wanted natural-looking eyes, so I chose surgery after reading reviews and through a friend's recommendation, but my eyelids ended up looking a little unnatural, and I regret that I should have had an incisional procedure instead. Even now, my buried double eyelids still look too obvious, so I'm planning to get eyelid fat removal.
