At first, they recommended non-incisional ptosis correction, but since it was my first eye surgery and I was scared of ptosis correction, I chose the buried-suture method so that it could be undone later if needed! And because my small, clam-shaped eyes were stressful for me, I had outer canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty done together. For the canthoplasty, until about 2-3 months, I did have some eye tightness and a foreign-body sensation, but now it feels totally fine (9 months post-op). The buried-suture double eyelids felt like my own eyes from almost 1 month afterward haha
In the middle, one side of the buried sutures came loose ㅠㅠ so they re-fixed it for free. This time I’m also looking into nose surgery, and since I’m doing my nose, I’m wondering whether I should do incisional double eyelid surgery at the same time, but I feel like my current natural-looking eyes are also okay, so I’m debating. I had my first double eyelid surgery in my 30s, and I worried a lot that my eye smile or my own charm might disappear, but after doing it, I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner lol
