In my case, my under-eye fat isn’t severe; rather, the issue is that my anterior cheekbones are much lower than average, so he said repositioning alone wouldn’t be enough, and that I would definitely need repositioning + fat grafting to the anterior cheekbones. He said my dark circles wouldn’t improve much and that fine wrinkles would become more noticeable too. In my case, he said it wasn’t an aging issue but more for cosmetic purposes, so if I wanted to do it I could, but there are side effects, something along those lines. After hearing the director, I found myself thinking more that maybe I shouldn’t do it. It’s a private clinic and the advantage is that he doesn’t do many surgeries a day, but the counseling manager felt too commercial? in contrast to the director, so that was a bit burdensome.

When I asked this and that, he did explain things in detail and realistically, but he seemed a little bothered… He said it was because my anterior cheekbones had sagged a lot, and as I age, my face overall droops, making the shadow under my eyes look darker. He said I needed under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting to the anterior cheeks. When I asked about side effects like changes in eye shape or wrinkles, he said that because my skin is thin, fine wrinkles are inevitable. For the eye shape, he said some people may feel as if their eye shape has changed depending on the person, and that most patients say it returns after 6 months to 1 year. He spoke realistically but also somewhat vaguely. I had the consultation in February, but I heard he has left the clinic now.
