The staff were kind, and I felt the consultation was quite professional. It was also the first hospital I’d been to that did vision testing and a left-right eye symmetry test? It was definitely different from clinics that just have you blink a few times and then mark the line a few times and finish. It left a strong impression that they carefully checked me by pressing on my eyeballs from various angles and pulling on the skin in all directions. What I wanted was a parallel outer line, but they firmly told me that was impossible and that revision surgery was unavoidable, which made me really sad. Still, I appreciated their honesty, and I also highly value their cautious, conservative approach. I won’t have surgery at this hospital because I have a very clear idea of the shape I want, but I still thought it was an honest hospital.
