My face was not suitable for it. The doctor also first said that my face was one that did not need it, and I did it of my own will, but in the end I ended up with hollow cheeks after buccal fat removal. After the procedure, my facial line became peanut-shaped. Later I had fat grafting, and the thigh that had been harvested healed cleanly, and the fat grafting settled in naturally. Still, buccal fat removal would have been better left undone, and my right cheek is smaller in volume than my left cheek, but the right side was actually taken out more. The surgery itself had a fast recovery and gave the impression that the doctor had a lot of experience, but it was not the right procedure for me.
