Review after consultations for lowering sausage-eye lines at ㅇㅇㄴㅋ

I wrote this on another review site too, but I’m writing it here as well.

Current condition = incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty 7 years ago, now sausage eyes ~> Recommended: lower the line by excision + slight ptosis correction + slight epicanthoplasty

Cons 1. Even though I had a consultation reservation, I waited 30 minutes. I came up from another region and it was my last consultation, so I was really tired and just wanted to leave. 2. It may differ by consultant, but the consultant assigned to me pressured me about the deposit ㅠ Also, she kept praising both directors and explaining this and that, which felt kind of very burdensome. 3. Since it’s revision eye surgery, I want to do it at an eye-specialized hospital, but this place isn’t one. But it doesn’t seem like a large hospital either.. 4. Since it’s revision surgery, I also consider experience, and the director looked very young, so that was also a concern. 5. Honestly, after the consultation I really liked it, but after seeing reviews here, I’m hesitating again. . I don’t like strong fixation.

Pros 1. The facilities are extremely good. 2. At first, the director looked at my eyes and said they weren’t that severe as sausage eyes, and spoke as if I could just live with them ㅜㅜ 3. Among the 10 places I consulted, 6 recommended the two-line excision method, but here they recommended excising 1-2 mm. (I’m not sure whether this is a pro or con, but I think the two-line method is a last resort, so I’m putting it under pros for now.) 4. Among the 10 places I consulted, this was the first hospital to mention lagophthalmos. They realistically told me that whether it’s the two-line method or excision, doing anything to the eyes would make the lagophthalmos worse ㅠㅠ 5. Also, when I said I was negative about ptosis correction, especially because of the Müller’s muscle, they said they would only do it very slightly and, since I have lagophthalmos, they would absolutely not overdo it. 6. At other hospitals that recommended the two-line method, some said that because my skin is thick, the line has to be lowered a lot. Here, they said that if the line is lowered too much, my impression would become much sharper, so we should lower it moderately. (A celebrity eye photo the consultant showed me was exactly the kind of eyes I wanted.) 7. Epicanthoplasty is optional, but they recommended opening it only slightly. (I’m also stressed about having small, clam-like eyes, so I’m positive about epicanthoplasty.) 8. Most of the other places I consulted recommended the two-line method, so the cost was considerable, but here it was excision, so the price was unexpectedly okay.

I waited so long that I wanted to just leave, but in conclusion, it was a hospital where I’m glad I had the consultation, and it’s one of my final candidate choices. If you’re struggling with sausage eyes, I recommend you definitely get a consultation.
