Last year in August / October / November / December and through January of this year, I had a total of 5 full-arm hair removal sessions. (They recommended getting hair removal once a month.)
I live outside Seoul and have a chronic illness that I’m being treated for, so while visiting Seoul once a week / at least twice a month, I tend to get cosmetic procedures done too.
First of all, it’s a typical factory-style procedure clinic, and there are Southeast Asian foreign staff members, so many foreigners come here. There are so few chairs that you can barely call it a waiting room, and there aren’t enough lockers in the changing room either. I don’t know how many reservations they take per hour, but whether you arrive before your reservation time or right on time, you should basically expect to keep waiting.
It’s always packed with people, and even weekday mornings are busy, so that says it all.
There is a separate consultation desk where they explain things and take payment, and the app price is the same. They don’t pressure you into recommended procedures, but you can basically assume there’s no explanation of the procedure either lol Since it was hair removal, there wasn’t much to hear anyway, but even when I saw people asking about other things, it was not really,.. haha You can barely see a doctor, and the procedures are done rather carelessly. The female doctor at least answers if you ask. The male doctor seemed to have neither the thought nor the will to answer and acted annoyed. He wasn’t meticulous either.
The staff are kind.
Also, you can’t choose the doctor, and maybe because I ended up seeing the careless male doctor more often, now, 3 months after finishing all 5 sessions, the hair removal effect isn’t that great.. Personally, I don’t recommend it.
