I followed a friend and, without thinking, right after graduating from high school in my early 20s, I booked surgery consultation and reserved immediately without studying or thinking much. So it is partly my own fault, but looking back now, the director gave a superficial consultation that was misleading, saying not exactly to avoid it but that a simple incision and eye correction would be enough without giving an accurate diagnosis of my skin condition. And then, at the consultation manager level, it was all rushed along with, “It could become sausage eyes, is that okay?” It ended too lightly. So now …
