I followed a friend and, without thinking, right after graduating from high school in my early 20s, I booked surgery consultation and reserved immediately without studying or thinking much. So it is partly my own fault, but looking back now, the director gave a superficial consultation that was misleading, saying not exactly to avoid it but that a simple incision and eye correction would be enough without giving an accurate diagnosis of my skin condition.
