I met with the director first and asked about simple things, then went in for a consultation with the surgeon. I asked if it would be okay to record because I'd forget everything once I got home, and they said that would be a bit difficult and that after the consultation I could get everything summarized again from the director, so there was no need. They also checked my nose by touching it and looking inside thoroughly. They asked what kind of surgery direction I wanted and explained how it would be best to do it, but the explanation felt very rough and cursory. At other hospitals they talked about osteotomy and alar reduction, which I hadn't heard of before ...
