I had deep buccal fat removal with Director Jeong Jae-young. I'm very timid, and I have the principle that cosmetic surgery should be kept to only what is necessary, so I kept saying that I wanted it done as small and minimal as possible, even after the anesthesia had been administered and until I closed my eyes. But the director said, in a very kind and gentle voice, "If you get hollow cheeks after buccal fat removal, you can just come back for cheekbone reduction ^^" I still remember being so frightened that I went through with the surgery.
Regardless of skill, and even though the surgery itself wasn't a failure, it was a remark that made me question the doctor's professionalism. Instead of reassuring me, saying that to someone who wasn't even considering surgery on another area made it sound like, "If a side effect happens after cosmetic surgery, you can just fix it with another cosmetic procedure!" That mindset was so disappointing.
