After<photos are>after<all>after<post-op>after<this is how I look now~!>It does sound a bit weird to say rib lol My first nose surgery was done with autologous costal cartilage + septal cartilage, silicone, and bulbous nose correction~ It was re....ally...... very low... it was like that, but now really... to the point where no one can say it’s a low nose no matter what, my nasal bridge and nasal tip have completely come alive... Using my rib was worth it lololol
Rib.. autologous costal cartilage... because of all that.. at first I wondered, what do they do with the rib bone ㅠㅠ But they said the part that can be taken out and used is limited~ They said they don’t use the hard part like bone, but literally use the softer part made of cartilage.
Getting low-nose surgery... became a chance for me to learn a lot about the mysteries of the human body in many ways ㅋㅌ
Oh, and the director explained it in a lot of detail during the consultation too, so in case it helps! I’ll share what I was told!
For people who smoke... they said there’s a possibility autologous costal cartilage can’t be used~! Calcification? They said if it becomes too hard to use, it may not be usable~ So they do things like X-ray exams before surgery~
They also said another case where it can’t be used even if you don’t smoke is pregnancy! They said after giving birth once, calcification progresses a lot, so even if you want to use it, you may not be able to..
I had thought, does it really have to be autologous costal cartilage..? But after learning there are cases where people can’t use it even if they want to... When mine was judged usable, I actually felt happy in the opposite way lol;
It’s been about 5 months since I had low-nose surgery~! Whether from the front or the side~ it absolutely no longer looks like a low nose~
Check my previous post once for the before-surgery photos haha
