The line I had done with buried sutures 18 years ago came undone, and my eye asymmetry was really severe You know the kind of eyes where it shows a lot in photos, right? But if I said I was getting revision surgery, people around me would say, “Really?? You don’t seem to need it?” It was ambiguous, but I personally didn’t like it... so I started looking into revision surgery because I was dissatisfied with the shape. After filtering through lots of research, I had consultations at a total of 7 places, and since it was a shape dissatisfaction issue, every clinic recommended different types of surgery, so I was really conflictedㅠㅠㅠ
I usually don’t do much eye makeup, so I wanted big eyes that looked natural but also somewhat glamorous (like a hot iced Americano...), and the photo I brought was a semi-out line
Among the seven clinics, one even told me not to have surgery (I was totally disappointed there; it was hard to even book a consultation, and I had seen consultation reviews saying they only do surgeries they want to do, and it really seemed that way) Three places recommended incision + canthoplasty + fat grafting or fat repositioning One place recommended brow lift + lateral canthoplasty only for the smaller eye Two places recommended buried sutures Since adding this and that seemed like it would take me further from a natural look, I chose IQ, which recommended only buried sutures, and now I’m so, so satisfied haha But I’m worried that if the swelling goes down more than now, the line will get lower... that’s my concernㅜ And a slight asymmetry remains, but if you’re human, everyone has this much asymmetry.. hahaha
I think it was a good choice to do only buried sutures at IQ without adding other things
