Aww, another victim has appeared T_T I happened to come back here for the first time in a long while and felt upset, so I’m editing my added post. I sincerely hope no more victims appear.. In 2022, while accompanying my mom to a surgery consultation through my mom’s acquaintance, we both impulsively had surgery on the same day. We were careless. I regret it to death.. What I got from this hospital was hospital PTSD, a ruined face, and depression. What I lost was money and time. First, these are the problems I think of based on what I experienced. (assistant staff doing surgery in place of the doctor, the surgeon teaching while operating.. simultaneous surgeries - more than 3 people behind one curtain. For reference, the head doctor is only one person - gynecology background. No CT machine, only a 10-second consultation with the doctor before surgery after talking with the manager, the manager doing the consultation - not a specialist doing the surgery, operating room cleanliness - hospital staff wearing fur coats and going in and out of the OR while surgery is in progress, old equipment, brokers taking a 20% commission - anyone can do it, postop check lasting 10 seconds and not remembering the patient - because the doctor wasn’t the one who operated, and even when complications happen they deny everything to the end - every hospital staff member reacts the same way, and if you make a scene they say they’ll give you Botox~ stuff like that..) Even so, you still wouldn’t go there, right.. I had already checked other places and even booked an appointment, but the impulsive mother-and-daughter pair crossed a point of no return.. My mom didn’t know anything, but I had had quite a few cosmetic surgeries, and I thought I knew most of the plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam, Yes, this was truly the biggest mistake of my life.. I had a bad feeling, like, is this really right..? is it..? but it was a recommendation from my mom’s acquaintance, and (that lady said hers turned out pretty well) I fell into self-hypnosis, thinking this must be one of those little gem clinics famous among older women! and ended up walking into the operating room.. My mom decided to do her nose, facelift, and fat grafting, and I decided to do a nose surgery. After paying (they also forced a bank transfer while pushing the discount narrative) I asked whether it was really okay to do big surgeries at the same time, but they said everyone does it that way and there’s absolutely no problem. Leaving my uneasy feelings behind, my mom went into the operating room first, and then I went in after her. The moment I stepped in, my body froze. It was like the absurd operating table you see in old sitcoms, and through one curtain there was my mom under general anesthesia having surgery, another patient in surgery, and the operating table I was supposed to lie on.. there may have been a few more, but I was so terrified that I honestly can’t remember exactly. I was looking at my mom’s operating table, so scared that I almost turned back and left, but they tied me down immediately and put me under anesthesia before I could even come to my senses. I’m the type who wakes up easily from anesthesia, babbles nonsense, and struggles, and what I vaguely remember is feeling like a young man I thought was an assistant was actually the one operating, so I struggled a lot. Somehow my surgery ended and I came out to wait for my mom, but she didn’t come out for a much longer time than scheduled, so I waited really worried, and around closing time my mom finally came out. She looked like someone on the verge of death.. Since it was a major surgery, being covered in blood may sound normal, but it really felt like something had gone seriously wrong. As expected, the bleeding was severe, and they said they stopped the surgery midway after starting with fat removal from the thighs, then the lift, then the nose.. But the doctor never showed his face, left the explanation to the assistant, and the two of them just kept hanging around in that run-down hospital.. They are truly people with no responsibility and no humanity.. My mom said that during the surgery, while teaching someone, he was saying things like, do it like this, and then like this~ that’s right! Oh my!!! There’s blood!! Wow, this is the first time I’ve seen so much blood!! My mom clearly remembers the conversation in the operating room.. With the pain plus worrying about my mom, I couldn’t sleep at all, and I kept thinking this isn’t right, let’s stop mom’s surgery and just do it somewhere else, but thinking about it, what hospital would take over a surgery that had been started and not finished.. We also didn’t have any financial slack, so we scraped everything together for the surgery, and ugh.. The next day the doctor came and said they had only stopped because the bleeding was severe, it’s nothing serious, let’s do it again, and then went in and did it again I really waited for my mom while crying.. seriously.. ignorance is a sin.. I kept worrying she might not come out, wondering where and how everything went wrong, why I made this choice, hating myself and feeling pathetic, my mind was blank and every minute and second felt like an hour, it was a horrible time.. After that awful experience, I only waited for recovery and kept going to the hospital, crying and swallowing my pride, for disinfection and splint removal, even though I didn’t want to go there at all. Of course the result was that both of us were completely ruined.. I ended up with a nose avatar that was neither ugly nor good-looking, and my mom’s nose became completely upturned, with the cartilage inside her nose fully visible..... I was literally speechless. Anyone could see it The hospital just kept saying wait whenever I told them, and the doctor’s dialect, casually saying nonsense like wow~ it turned out great, so pretty~ is still vivid in my ears. I’d love to explain everything from beginning to end, but up to now I feel like I’ve only told about one-third of the whole story... In conclusion, to summarize the facts, (it’s not even ghost-doctor level, there is only one doctor but three surgeries are done at the same time.. haha. Obvious, right? And they use patients like lab rats for practice..) None of the staff there are sane.. Money-obsessed psychopaths.. The head doctor, Choi C.M., is a gynecology specialist.. The manager is not a specialist either, but that manager does double-eyelid surgery.. Consulting.. then double-eyelid surgery.. ughh Truly an amazing clinic with no end no matter how much you dig.. Please, please, please do not go.. This is a request... ----------------+ revised addendum up to here I had revision surgery, and my mom only had the silicone removed (it eventually turned into inflammation). Her face has become extremely harsh She said how much longer can she live like this, that she thought she was going to die during surgery, and now she has surgery trauma and will just live with it.. It was my first time getting a CT, and my first time learning they used L-shaped silicone. I have no idea why in the world they use L-shaped silicone, and there is only one surgical method! Whether the nose is small or big, lifted or drooping! There is only one surgical method^^ A masterpiece by that OR assistant haha At the revision hospital, they said even the silicone wasn’t fitting the bone properly and was floating, and that the tissue at the tip of the nose was so close to the silicone that it was about to break through.. They turned my normal nose into an avatar, and it became crooked. Every other day, they operated on my nose three times. The silicone was crooked, the cartilage was sticking out, and so on.. They did local anesthesia on skin full of scars, haha After that, I think I developed trauma to the operating table. Even if I just want Botox, I get facial spasms lol I did it together with my mom, but my mom kept getting inflammation, it was hard and something could be felt, and the doctor just went into I-don’t-care mode haha Whenever we went because there was a problem, he would just say everything is fine lol No, the patient is saying it’s not fine??? It was obvious that the so-called doctor had the assistants do all the surgery and didn’t even remember it (because when I went into the operating room for my surgery, there were already two people lying there behind one curtain... one had the forehead opened up..;;;; and there was only one doctor...???!? And someone who looked like a reception manager kept coming and going during surgery wearing a fur coat. It was winter then. I should have stormed out right then, sigh..) If you complained, he would only say nonsense like he gave such a huge discount that it was basically free. My mom recently went because it felt hot and hard and swollen, and they said it wasn’t inflammation Then what, do they only admit it’s inflammation once it rots and falls apart? In the end, after begging, they only removed the silicone. There is absolutely no CT or anything like that, and even when we ask what surgery was done, they won’t even show the chart h; Even if you ask the doctor, he doesn’t know.. because he wasn’t the one who did it.... It seems like the operating-room people just do it themselves. The aftercare is truly a total mess, doctor qualifications x, morality gone, humanity gone. Operating-room hygiene management is the worst. I really relate to the reviews, and they sound just like something I wrote myself
