I had double eyelid surgery in a semi-out style using the natural adhesion method a year ago. The surgical line was set at the position of my original double eyelid crease, and now that all the swelling has gone down, I find the line lower than I expected, which is disappointing. At first, while there was swelling, it looked at least somewhat defined, but once the swelling went away, it no longer seemed as high as I had hoped. Looking back now, if I wanted a higher crease, I don’t think I should have chosen semi-out. Since this method does not stray far from the original crease position, if the goal was to raise the height, I probably should have chosen a different method from the start. I wish I had gone over that part more carefully during the consultation, which is a bit disappointing.
