I went for a consultation for total nose removal. The director took photos and then had me lie down while conducting the consultation after looking inside my nose with a thin light. After consulting at another hospital... I was shocked because they said there could be a possibility that materials I had never even thought of were used, so I could not ask the questions I had written down. But if total removal would cause an extreme change in shape, such as columella retraction, an upturned nose, or pinched nostrils, they explained that they would leave part of the support structure behind, and they said the tip skin had become thin so they would reinforce it with dermis.
