I had nose surgery 10 years ago when it was Choi Deok-ho Plastic Surgery Clinic. They did osteotomy, then used silicone and septal cartilage for the tip of the nose. The result was moderately satisfying and looked natural. Three years ago, at a hospital I visited because the cartilage was visible, the doctor who had performed the surgery at the time said it should be removed immediately. But another hospital I visited because I was doubtful said it wasn't something urgent, and when they looked at the X-ray, they said it wasn't septal cartilage at all. Only after going to another hospital where the former manager from the consultation 10 years ago was working did I hear that they probably used donated cartilage, meaning costal cartilage, back then. I was so shocked. I'm currently looking into removal surgery, and while the original hospital would be advantageous financially, I've completely lost trust, so I have no intention of going back and am looking around other hospitals.
