I had double eyelid surgery about 10+ years ago. The conclusion is that people around me keep saying my eyes look sleepy... and asking why I didn't get ptosis correction. Also, my eyes don't fully close when I sleep. When I asked about it at the consultation after the surgery, they showed me my pre-op photos and said to think about my whole face. Even now, 10 years later, I still remember it.
