I came for a consultation about revision surgery for double eyelids. I arrived earlier than my reservation time, but the director's surgery was delayed, so I waited about an hour. Maybe because he had just finished surgery, he looked a bit tired. He said things like, "Your eyes don't need revision surgery," "You don't need an epicanthoplasty," and "A canthoplasty won't have much effect," and so on. When I mentioned that other hospitals seemed to recommend epicanthoplasty unconditionally and compared them, he only then said that if you do epicanthoplasty, it will be about this much. I don't know if he was giving an honest opinion or just trying to send me away quickly because the waiting list was so long, but it was a hospital with good reviews that I had high hopes for, and after waiting an hour just for this 5-minute consultation, I found myself wondering whether I really had to pay the consultation fee too. I wasn't satisfied with the consultation compared to my expectations, but the price was cheaper than other places.
