They seemed to try making it with an out line, saying they’d make my eyes look fresher and more open, but in the end it looks like neither a clear out nor an in-out line. But in a way it has its own charm, so I’m satisfied with the line itself. Still, it took a very long time for the swelling to go down and for it to become how it is now, and during that time it was too high, so it was stressful. I don’t know if it’s because of the structure of my eyes or not, but the double eyelid is extremely thick. It didn’t turn out awkward, but it’s a very thick-looking eye. I think people will be split on it, but if you like heavy, thick, clear eyes, this would be a 5-star eye. I prefer light and thin double eyelids, so I only gave 3 stars. As for the inner corner surgery, honestly I wonder why I even did it. They said I had to do the inner corner surgery to make the double eyelid, so I did it, but since my brows weren’t that far apart to begin with, after the inner corner surgery my eyes look a little like Shin Dong-yup’s to me. Still, it’s not very strange, and I think it has its own charm. In photos, my eyes come out really pretty. They look like a celebrity’s eyes, and so on. It’s just that in real life they’re a bit thicker than I expected. And when I went for consultations, other hospitals all recommended ptosis correction, but only here they said it wasn’t necessary. Instead, they told me to practice opening my eyes wide after surgery. Since I didn’t have ptosis correction, for a while after surgery I was opening my eyes in that dull way like before, so the line looked unnatural, but after I followed the doctor’s advice and practiced opening them wide, now I can open them quite well. I guess eye muscles are muscles too, so they can be trained. It’s not a 100% satisfying surgery (because it’s the thick kind of eye I don’t prefer), but since there were no major side effects and it became an unexpectedly distinctive eye, I don’t think it was a botched surgery.
