It's been several years since I had a dual canthoplasty, and although it has become much tighter than when I first had it done, I am still satisfied and living with it. Before the surgery, the outer corners of my eyes were tilted upward, so when I looked sideways, not much of my black iris showed, but after the surgery I can see much more of it, so I'm satisfied. However, lateral canthoplasty is a surgery with side effects, so in winter or when the wind blows, my eyes tear up a lot and sometimes they feel cold. It does look a little bit operated-on, but even if I could go back to before the surgery, I think I would do it again.
