It seemed like the doctor didn't have much of an opinion. I could do front canthoplasty or not, back canthoplasty too, and eye correction too... Shouldn't they recommend the best option? Of course they may be good at surgery, but I wish they had a clearer view, like saying this is why it's better not to do it, or that doing this would have this effect but not doing it would be similar, so I recommend not doing it.
