I had upper eyelid surgery about 2 months ago. My eyes, which had been operated on with a buried-suture method 15 years ago, had started to sag, so I decided on double eyelid surgery to improve the sagging. During the consultation, they said they would match the existing double eyelid line. I also had the experience that my previous double eyelid surgery turned out really naturally and nicely, and since they said they would take care of it well during the consultation, I decided to go ahead even though it was more expensive than other places, thinking that if I was going to do it, I should do it properly. On the day of surgery, they removed eye fat that had not been mentioned during the consultation, which surprised me, and instead of matching my existing inner line, they made the center of the eye too wide, so my family reacted terribly to the unnatural look. As the swelling went down, maybe because they had removed the fat from my originally thin eyelids, the eyes started to sink in. Right now the sunken eyes are so bad that in the afternoon it's uncomfortable to keep my eyes open. The line is strange too, and the inner eye crease has become darker, and people around me say I look 7 years older. Honestly, from the day of surgery until now, I've been stressed every single day. The clinic told me to come back after 2 months, so I went, but they said things like, anyone can see the eyes are badly sunken, that if I get forehead Botox it will control the muscle used to open the eyes and get better. They're saying these absurd things. My face looks odd, I look older because of the sunken eyes, and after being stressed for two months they want me to pay a 10,000 won consultation fee for this situation. The doctor was unfriendly on the day of surgery, but most of the nurses were kind, and especially one tall nurse was really kind, though there is one nurse whose tone was truly unpleasant.
