While looking for a hospital, I thought the female director would do a meticulous job, so I had a consultation and went ahead with the surgery. People around me said epicanthoplasty probably wasn’t necessary, but the director said to do epicanthoplasty and incisional double eyelid surgery, so I trusted that the doctor’s judgment would be more accurate and proceeded. The surgical result was strange, with the inner corner of the eye sunken deeply downward, to the point that I wondered if they hadn’t done epicanthoplasty at the inner corner but rather had done lower canthoplasty on the front of the eye. The line at the inner corner of the eye doesn’t start cleanly, and the line is messy.. Now it’s been about 3 years since the surgery, so the flesh has filled in a bit and it’s somewhat better, but every time I look in the mirror the messy eye bothers me, so I’ve been enduring it and am now looking into revision surgery. All I want is for my eyes to become natural and clean after revision surgery as soon as possible..
