This shows what a doctor's expertise is. I think I went to about 10 places, and they all said to use costal cartilage, but he said ear cartilage and the septum would be enough. I was really surprised. Still, his logic was solid, so if I get nose surgery, I'll do it here. I think they'll be meticulous and do well functionally too.
