I had double eyelid surgery 5 years ago. Back then I had the buried-suture method, and they consulted me very kindly and carried out the buried method exactly the way I wanted. They set the double-eyelid line nicely so it wouldn't feel burdensome. It is loosening now, but I was satisfied from right after the surgery up until the third year!
