It’s been about a month and a half since my revision nose surgery, so I’m leaving a review while watching the swelling go down lol My first surgery was 3 years ago. I had silicone put in and the tip done with ear cartilage. But as time passed, the tip kept getting more blunt, and when light hit it, the silicone started showing through, so I was honestly going crazy So this time I had revision surgery with donated rib cartilage. I looked for a place that specializes in noses and went to about 5 consultations, and while everyone said similar things, one place in particular explained my nose condition very specifically, so I decided on them. Right after surgery, the swelling was much worse than after my first nose job, so I wondered if something had gone wrong lol But after 2 weeks it went down fast. Now the tip has come down really naturally, and from the side the line looks completely different. The tip is still hard when I touch it and the sensation is still a bit dull, but they said that will improve with time, so I’m waiting. If there are people worried about revision surgery because their first nose job failed, I recommend going to lots of consultations at least. Going around for consultations really made me realize how different each place is;;
