I went expecting a clinic specialized in noses, and I liked that they said they could use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal bridge without implants. When I asked whether there was any difference between that and silicone when using autologous costal cartilage, I liked that they explained it by saying the surgical method, shape, feel, and so on are almost the same. When I said doing only the tip surgery would leave the bridge a little lacking, I liked that they honestly said it would probably be better to do the bridge too in the end. The manager was kind, and I also liked that the doctor would continue overseeing my aftercare. They said any remaining cartilage would be stored for 6 months if autologous costal cartilage is used, in case it is needed for any A/S later. They said the A/S period is 1 year. They explained the surgical method in detail, but I haven’t seen many reviews about nasal bridge surgery with autologous costal cartilage, and the cost was higher than I expected, so I’m debating it.
