I had no upper lip. My lips were small and my upper lip was completely tucked in... so I went around to different clinics without even thinking about it. I’m not sure about now, but in 2023 there weren’t many doctors who did lateral philtrum shortening So I was able to go around and make a decision in just one day, and I was so happy. Director Lee Hyunjik spoke confidently, told me clearly what could be done and what couldn’t, and fit me well with a compromise right in the middle. Honestly, recovery takes some time. Up to 3 months I was really kind of a joker, and from 6 months it gradually got better. Now it’s my 4th year and it’s just my lips. My thin, pinched lips have opened up, and I’m so happy It was the biggest worry of my life, and I think I’m glad I had the surgery early~~
