I was going to go to Cocoline for a consultation, but by mistake I ended up going to Coco Plastic Surgery and got a consultation there instead. The reviews on this community were so bad that I had no expectations. I kept debating whether to cancel the consultation because it seemed like a blacklisted clinic, but once I actually got the consultation, Director Jo explained everything slowly and thoroughly one by one using a nose model. It was the most detailed consultation I've ever had. If I had the materials, I think I could have done nose surgery myself after those two hours, the way he explained how my nose would be incised, how the shape was formed, and how the materials were stacked. No other place had mentioned septal collapse, but he caught that. What was interesting was that, unlike what I had heard elsewhere, he said if you only lift the nose tip with two pieces of rib cartilage, it would be unstable and the nose would drop again, so you need to build a central pillar and lift the tip from there. That caught my attention. (They said it was their own unique method, which made me lean in more, but after the consultation I looked it up and found clinics that do this.) And the director really wanted my case, saying this was the kind of case that would bring a dramatic change if done at their clinic and insisting strongly that I should do it there. The counseling manager also said that my nose was the kind of case whose changed shape would really suit me... The downside was that they said they would need to use at least four pieces of autologous costal cartilage. I thought this was not the right clinic for me, but the consultation was so good that I'm suddenly getting a headache over how to decide.
