It’s already been half a year since my surgery. I had my nose bridge done with silicone + ear cartilage! For the first 3 to 4 months after the surgery, there was still swelling in my nose, so the tip looked way too round and I felt like it made me look like a snouty nose guy, but after I lost a bit of weight and the swelling went down a little, I’ve come to like my nose shape in my own way. Both the height and shape improved naturally, so my nose doesn’t pull as much anymore, and I like that it feels like an upgrade from my original looks. At first I was disappointed that it didn’t look obvious, but now I’m satisfied that it doesn’t look obvious.. Still, when I see the many complication cases on this community, I can’t help being afraid But this is not really something I can control, so I’m just trying to keep it tucked away in the back of my mind... Before surgery, the doctor said that if I raised the bridge too much in a way that didn’t suit my skin, it would increase the chance of contracture and complications, so they recommended keeping it natural and did it that way, and I think I was 100 times right to follow that. I’m satisfied with my improved looks and feel like I’ve come to love myself a little more, so I’m happy.
