I chose local anesthesia because even though it hurts, I wanted the swelling to go down quickly. I was extremely nervous and after the anesthesia my body was very stiff because of the pain, but I remember the doctor and nurses comforting me a lot to relax!! The postoperative care was good too, and first of all, the eye line came out so beautifully.. People around me say it’s so natural that many of them can’t tell I had just one line done. My expression used to look a bit tense, but with the epicanthoplasty done without being excessive, my expression became brighter and my eyes got much bigger. I didn’t research hospitals much and just went to a nearby one, but I’m really happy it turned out this well
