I was told that skin has to be managed from a young age, so this was the first dermatology clinic I visited in my mid-twenties, which wasn’t exactly early. I went because I was bothered by blemishes and moles on otherwise decent skin, but I had a consultation with someone who was maybe a consultant, an assistant, a skin care specialist, or just someone doing admin, and it felt so careless.. It seemed like they only wanted to sell products. They just recommended products based on the customer’s request. Anyway, if you buy a 10-session package, you can call and make a reservation for laser treatment on the day you want. Same-day booking, or even booking an hour before, is totally possible But the reservation doesn’t really mean anything, because if you get a bad time slot when people are swarming in, you end up waiting like crazy... it’s just endless waiting... Just when I was about to get annoyed enough to complain, they called my name I figured this was just because it’s a cheap dermatology clinic with a high-volume, low-margin model, so I let it go and thought I’d just come on a day when I had time. The first laser treatment was done very carefully and kindly by the director, so I thought it was a good purchase, but after that it was always a salaried doctor I don’t know if it was just me, but except for the first and last laser sessions, all the others were done by a salaried doctor, so the laser intensity seemed to differ a little each time, and they didn’t seem to know my skin condition very well.. I was a bit suspicious. For example, on some days it was fine, but on other days it hurt so much I wanted to scream.. But the funny thing was that the salaried doctor told me my skin had improved a bit. That was just because I was in better condition that day... Laser effects usually aren’t easy to see anyway. So I just assumed it was empty politeness and let it slide. Overall, bleh.. I have no intention of paying again. But if you have a lot of free time and want laser treatments at a cheap price, it doesn’t seem bad.
