My first double eyelid surgery was partial incision, ptosis correction, and inner corner epicanthoplasty, and it's been over 10 years. My eyes currently don't open fully and the ptosis correction isn't enough. The line is too wide, so I have sausage eyelids. The mucous membrane by the eyelashes is also visible. -For properly opening the eyes I came in for a consultation because I wanted an overall improvement. They recommended double-line surgery and ptosis correction. They said the biggest problem is the sausage-like swelling, and that the higher the line, the more sausage-like it gets and the more ptosis there is. They said ptosis correction alone isn't enough and that lowering the line has to go with it. They said I should lower the current line by half. The eyelashes are lifted and the mucous membrane is showing, so I should have a revision surgery...
