I went for a consultation for my first double-eyelid surgery and front canthoplasty because my inner double eyelids, Mongolian fold, and heavy upper eyelid skin were really bothering me. Since it was my first consultation for double-eyelid surgery, compared with the other hospital where I ended up getting the surgery, I liked that they recommended options suited to my eyes and explained things well. But at the other hospital, I was told there wasn’t much space for a back canthoplasty and that it wasn’t recommended, whereas here they just said a back canthoplasty would be fine without saying anything like that. So it made me feel like the other hospital was more honest, and I don’t think that’s why I decided not to have surgery here.
