The director really is a bit of an eccentric. He talks a lot about himself, like photos of people he operated on, charts, celebrities, and so on. He points out the parts of the face that are lacking very well. The direction for compensating for that (the surgical direction) feels very active and aggressive. It feels like the result will be either all or nothing.
